Whole Wheat Garlic Bread
Ingredients
- 1 whole Wheat Baguette
- 1 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
- 2 squares Frozen Garlic Cubes defrosted
- 2 squares Frozen Basil Cubes defrosted
- 1 tbsp Parmesan cheese grated
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cut baguette in half, lengthwise, and peel out the dough middle of the bread.
- Drizzle the olive oil on each half, equally, spreading with a spoon down the length of the baguette.
- Spoon the frozen garlic cubes down one half of the baguette, and the basil down the other half.
- Sprinkle with cheese, salt and pepper.
- Close halves together making the baguette whole again and wrap tightly in aluminum foil.
- Place bread on to rack of grill and cook for about 10 minutes, turning half way through cooking time.
- Remove from grill, slice immediately, and serve. Goes great with grilled steak for steak sandwiches.
