Cut baguette in half, lengthwise, and peel out the dough middle of the bread.
Drizzle the olive oil on each half, equally, spreading with a spoon down the length of the baguette.
Spoon the frozen garlic cubes down one half of the baguette, and the basil down the other half.
Sprinkle with cheese, salt and pepper.
Close halves together making the baguette whole again and wrap tightly in aluminum foil.
Place bread on to rack of grill and cook for about 10 minutes, turning half way through cooking time.
Remove from grill, slice immediately, and serve. Goes great with grilled steak for steak sandwiches.
