Turmeric-Infused Brussel Sprouts

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 tbsp garlic chopped
  • 2 Leeks cleaned, haved, sliced, white parts only
  • 4 cups Brussel Sprouts Coarsely chopped
  • 2 tbsp dry white wine
  • 1 tsp Turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes optional*

Instructions
 

  • Heat the coconut oil in a large skillet. Add the garlic and the leeks, and cook for 2-3 minutes until leeks become translucent.
  • Add in the Brussel sprouts and mix well.
  • Add in the white wine and cook the vegetable mixture, stirring regularly, for about 10 minutes, until the Brussels are completely cooked through.
  • Add in all of the salt and seasonings, mix well, cook another 2 minutes, and serve.
