Sesame Soba Noodles With Broccoli

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb Soba Noodles
  • 1 tbsp Toasted Sesame Oil
  • 2 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsp ginger chopped
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1/4 cup Tamari
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • pinch red pepper flakes
  • 4 scallions chopped

Instructions
 

  • Cook Soba noodles according to package directions.
  • (Soba noodles cook fast). Just before noodles are fully cooked, throw broccoli florets into water and blanch for 2 minutes.
  • After two minutes, strain pasta and broccoli together, saving ¼ cup of cooking water.
  • Immediately run cold water over pasta and broccoli to cease cooking.
  • Mix oils, ginger, cooking water, and tamari together in a bowl.
  • Pour mixture over pasta.
  • Mix sesame seeds and pepper flakes over pasta, and garnish with scallions.
