Traditional Barbecue Chicken

Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 lbs chicken cleaned and cut in eighths
  • avocado oil
  • 3 tbsp Rosemary
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/3 cup Favorite Barbecue Sauce

Instructions
 

  • Preheat barbecue to medium low heat. Rub rosemary, salt, and pepper on chicken.
  • Place chicken on barbecue and cook for approximately 40 minutes with the cover closed, turning often.
  • After 40 minutes, turn heat to medium and begin basting the chicken pieces with sauces, turning and basting often. Cook for another 10 minutes.
  • Outer skin should be very charred by the time it’s done. Remove chicken from the grill and onto a plate. Tent with foil for 5-10 minutes and then serve.
