Preheat barbecue to medium high. Place sliced potatoes directly onto a large piece of tin foil.
Drizzle olive oil all around potatoes, and then season with lemon pepper and salt.
Tightly close up foil and then put a second layer of foil wrapped around the potatoes. Place the potatoes on the grill and cook for 45 minutes, turning half way through cooking time.
Remove foil-wrapped potatoes from the grill. Using caution because it will be extremely hot, place the foil wrapped potatoes in a large bowl, still in the foil. Open the foil and serve potatoes directly from there.
