Chicken Sausage With Broccoli Rabe
Ingredients
- 4 Organic Chicken Sausage sliced into ½ inch discs
- 2 tbsp coconut oil
- 3 cloves garlic chopped
- 3 cups Broccoli Rabe washed and coarsely chopped (Can also substitute with baby broccoli or broccolini)
- 1/2 cup Canned White Cannellini Beans rinsed and drained
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes optional
Instructions
- Heat 1 tbsp coconut oil in a large sauté pan until liquefies and spreads throughout pan.
- Add sliced sausage and cook, stirring occasionally, for 8-10 minutes, until sausage is cooked through.
- Add in the remaining coconut oil and the garlic, and let cook for 1 minute until garlic is fragrant.
- Add in broccoli rabe and cook, stirring often, for about 3 minutes until broccoli wilts and turns bright green.
- Add in beans and red pepper flakes, cook another 2 minutes, and serve immediately.
