Broiled Asian Halibut

Broiled Asian Halibut
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp ginger chopped
- 3 tbsp low sodium tamari
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp agave syrup
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp chili oil
- 4 4 oz fillets halibut
- 2 tbsp fresh cilantro chopped
- 2 tsp sesame seeds
Instructions
- Combine the ginger, tamari, rice vinegar, agave, sesame oil, and chili oil into a bowl and mix together.
- Pour the marinade over the halibut filets and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 10 minutes or up to 6 hours.
- Place the halibut fillets on a baking sheet lined with a silicone baking mat, parchment paper, or non-stick aluminum foil, and place under broiler. Cook for approximately 7 minutes, depending on thickness of the fish.
- Sprinkle cilantro and sesame seeds on top of the halibut and cook for 3 more minutes. Fish should flake easily with a fork when ready. Serve immediately.
